Since 2014 we have been working on a dream and a mission to elevate marriages by offering romantic venues and enrichment events. We searched for and bought a great Victorian property in an amazing city and traveled far and often to acquire unique antique furnishings with YOU in mind all the while!
It took months to find just the right property in the best location to provide easy access to both the beach and the shops, restaurants, bars and the historic 1894 Grand Opera House. Once it was ours we went to work making the property what we wanted to provide for our guests. There was a lot of love put into this 131-year old Victorian house!
We wanted more than the standard-issue hotel accommodations. Two years ago we started traveling throughout Texas and the region seeking out the perfect furnishings to create an atmosphere of great romance. Every piece was thought-through and selected with our guests in mind. In the process we learned about the romantic period of history in which the house was built. 1888 Victoriana was all about sweeping gestures and beautiful touches that we bring to you today in our suites.
Galveston Island is the perfect location for a romantic getaway. Although it is most known for its beaches, Galveston has a whole other side that many have missed.
